The Semi-Automatic / Manual AFDSS is a simple and robust fire suppression system without automatic detection. It is widely used where manual intervention is acceptable or budget is a constraint. How it Works: In case of fire, the operator pulls the safety pin and strikes the palm button on the Manual Actuator. This releases Nitrogen gas, which activates the pneumatic actuator on the DCP cylinder. ABC Dry Chemical Powder discharges through the nozzles instantly. It can be supplied with 4, 6, or 8 nozzles depending on vehicle size. Very popular in Indian mining industry due to its simplicity, low maintenance, and lower cost.
