Universal Electrical & Electronics at IME 2023 – Supporting Safe & Sustainable Mining Innovation

IME 2023, the 10th International Mining, Equipment & Minerals Exhibition organized by the Mining, Geological & Metallurgical Institute of India, was held from November 6–9, 2023, at Eco Park. The event brought together leading mining companies, technology providers, equipment manufacturers, and industry professionals from across the country and abroad.

Universal Electrical & Electronics was proud to participate in this prestigious exhibition, which focused on the theme: “Roadmap for Best Mining Practices vis-à-vis Global Transformation.” The exhibition emphasized safe mining technologies, sustainable operations, environmental responsibility, and advanced automated equipment shaping the future of the mining industry.

During the event, our team explored cutting-edge innovations designed to improve operational safety and efficiency in mining environments. Major industry leaders, including Coal India Limited and NLC India Limited, showcased advanced safety-focused technologies and working models of longwall and highwall mining operations. The exhibition also highlighted eco-friendly mining equipment, waste reuse systems, site rehabilitation methods, and intelligent monitoring technologies aimed at creating safer and more sustainable mining practices.

The concurrent 10th Asian Mining Congress featured technical discussions and expert sessions on environmental safety, occupational safety standards, and global best practices in mining operations. These discussions provided valuable insights into how technology and innovation are transforming the mining sector worldwide.

Participating in IME 2023 was an enriching experience for our team and further strengthened our commitment to developing reliable mining safety systems, industrial automation solutions, and innovative technologies for the mining industry.
